Majority Node Set cluster on ESX Server

Hi,

I am working with ESX Server 3.5 and would like know following:

Can I create more 3 node cluster on ESX?

Can I create Majority Node set cluster on ESX?

Note:

I am working with Windows Server 2003 Ent. x64 Edition - SP1

I do not have a SAN device... I have to virutualize everything....

No. One of the key requirements for MSCS in any environment is the fact that there must be some form of shared storage. The Majority Node feature only overcomes this requirement for the quorum drive not the data drives - you still need a SAN or at the very least DAS thats shared between the nodes. ESX doesn't help you here.

One other fact is that once you deploy your SAN - the cluster service requires boot from local disc - which means a clustered node can't take place in Vmotion. Currently MSCS is not supported under ESX 3.5 - although this is likely to change in the future.
