I have installed an MSA2012i with RAID 1+0 (4 disks of 300 GB) connected on a DL360 G5 equiped with 2 proc quad 2 GHz
when reading files on SAN, speed is between 350 and 400 Mbytes/s (nice speed)
but when I want to writing files this speed decrease between 18 and 26 MBytes/s (tryed under XP pro and 2008 server, same performance)
if I try to write under a Linux VM, I obtain 120 MBytes/sec with a"dd" command that fill zero on a file of 1GB
any can help me to understand why it's so slow under windows OS ? (I have try with an without anti virus, same)
