Lost vmdk file, still have the flat file, how create new vmdk?

is there a way to create a new .vmdk file for a existing flat file?

If you know the size you can create a new VMDK of (exactly!) the same size and modify the descriptor.

If unsure post the size of the flat file in bytes.

Yes it woked, the last time i thougt about it i had no space for a new file, now i added a new datastore where i created this file...
