Looking for virtual machine specific-report

Hello -

I am currently looking for the best way to create a report that offers an information summary of a virtual machine. I have looked around in VirtualCenter, but have yet to find any vm-related report capabilities other than performance. I'm not sure if I'm missing the place in VC that can do this or if looking at Powershell might be a better option. What the application stakeholders are looking for is something that will resemble the reporting function of HP SIM as much as possible.

Thanks very much for your help,

Steve Fortuna

take a look at powergui (powershell)

they have a pretty nice Vmware "powerpack", I tend to use this from day to day to pull quick reports off the environment -

Thanks very much - this tool looks great and I have downloaded and installed and connected to my ESX hosts. Might you be able to explain how to run a VM-specific report? I can see that I can get individual disk, port group, etc info, but I can't see how to run an "all-in-one" comprehensive report.

Thanks,

Steve

Hello,

Use HPSIM it will work with VMs, you can also use HPSIM + VMM.
