Load Balance with 4 NIC and 2 Core Switches - 2 NIC Per Core Switch
Can a virtual switch use 4 x NIC, and 2 core switcehs, ie 2 NIC connect to one of the core switch, and the other 2 NIC connect to another core switch, with the 2 switches interconnect (core switches are Cisco)?
Yes it can. We had the best luck with MAC based load balancing and an active\standby configuration. The two nics to each physical switch are setup in an etherchannel and one team is active and the other standby on the vswitch.
