Solved: Live LUN migration...

Folks,

We've purchased a new SAN and it will be delivered in the next month. I've also been migrating each of our ESX 2.5.4 servers to 3.0.1. One of the nice things about the 3.0.1 upgrade was the ability to do live VMFS migrations.

I am wondering -- can I do live migrations from one VMFS 3 volume to another? I plan to present new storage to the ESX hosts along with the old storage. By doing so, I hope to have zero downtime SAN migration.

Will this work? If so, how do I do it?

Nope you can not do this YET. We all hope that this will come in one of the upgrade releases
