Is there a way to find out if someone else is using my corporate license keys? There was a contractor here that needed them to build an ESX Server and I suspect he is using them somewhere else (maybe even at home). Does the ESX license server contact VMWare to let them know who is using the license keys? Anything like that happening?
No, I don't believe there is anything like that. As far as I know, it's basically honor system once you get the license keys from VMware (or license files for VI 3)
