LUN ID in vmware backup

It is said that the vcb proxy and the esx server require the same lun id, when do vm backup using the VCB.

Support I have two esx server: esx server 1 with the lun 101 and 102. esx server 2 with the lun 101 and 102.

How the vcb proxy server backup the two servers as they have the same lun id?

Hiya,

The VCB servers and the ESX servers need to see each LUN with the same LUN ID.

VCB is not backing up the servers.

It is backing up data on the LUNs

In your example data on LUN 101 and 102.

So there is no problem....
