KVM-Switch with Composite-USB

I'm just building a new VI3 farm (10x HP DL380G5 with dual Quadcores), using this HP IP-KVM switch:

http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/proliantstorage/rack-options/kvm/vm/index.html

And the AF604A USB media adapters.

Bad news: Keyboard and mouse are not working within the ESX console Smiley Sad

After some reading maybe I found the reason: The switch uses composite-usb to connect with keyboard, mouse and virtual media?!

Does anyone knows a workaround or a way to get this hardware working?

Hello,

I suggest you contact HP. I Have yet to see the composite USB work in ESX.

Best regards,

Edward

Hmm, even HP SmartStart 7.7.0 doesn't recognize keyboard and mouse Smiley Sad

On the other hand, Windows 2003 Server ist working like a charm!
