Is it caused by an ESX Host enters Isolation Mode ?

We check that there are a number of VMs runnning on a ESX Host (Named ESXB) are shutdown and started up in another 2 ESX 3.5 Hosts (ESXA and ESXC) at around 6:00am this morning. On the other hand, two VMs, with "Leave Power On" for HA Isolation Response stays on the ESXB Host.

We just wonder whether the shutdown of VMs and restart on other ESX Hosts is due to ESXB enter an Isolation Mode ? Besides, we would like to confirm that the definition of Isolation Mode is that the ESX Host loses connection with other ESX Hosts via the Service Console connection ?

Thanks

That is exactly what is going on - your server was isolated - isolation occurs when the service console loses connection to the isolation address which is typically the service console gateway address -
