Installation of my vCenter Server is not successful, i cant able to access it

I made vCenter server installation on MS Windows server 2008 r2 but i could have idea of how to access vcenter server. After the installation, i could see "vcenter server linked mode configuration'' under the vmware folder in start menu. When i clicked it , it showed me 2 options.

1.Modify linked mode configuration,

2. Uninstall.

Give me a solution to access vCenter server. And i created a new domain for the VM and created active domain controller services for the VM in order to

make the sql db for the vcenter server to access it.

I dont know what i am doing, so kindly advise on this.

Thanks,

Suresh.

I'm a little bit confused. What exactly are you trying to achieve with "Linked Mode", do you have multiple environments that you want to link together? Also you are posting tin the VMware ESX™ 3.5 forum, but I'm pretty sure this is not the version you are trying to set up!?

Anyway, vCenter Server is not like an application that you install and start. It's a service that you can access through either the Windows based "vSphere Client" or the Web Client. The easiest way to install the vSphere Client - unless you already downloaded the installation package - is to open the vCenter Server's IP address in a web browser and click the link to download and install the vSphere Client.
