Initial Request to VMware server application response time is in minutes not in seconds

Hi,

I have some slow response problem in accessing application in VM.

I have an ESX 3.5 in which 2 vms are running with normal shares. 1 vm is db and another vm is web server both speaks to have the application running. Iam trying to call the webpage from outside and for first instance it takes 5 minutes to load the page and after that if i logoff and login back again the response is much faster.

The user complaints saying that with physical server the response time was in seconds but in vm for the first time it is always taking time to initialize in minutes.

May I have some suggestion from vmware leads how I can resolve this response issue as an initial stage everytime ?

Just to update my ESX server "VM Network" has 2 x 1 Gig NICs - 100 MBps Full connectivity which is in Active / Passive Config.

Please help me in advicing if Iam missing something which cause this slowness in response.
