Increase screen resolution to 1920 x 1080?

Hi All,

I have a VMWare image running Windows Server 2008 as the Guest OS, under Infrastructure Client 2.5, on ESX 3.5.

Currently, the maximum screen resolution I can set on the VM is 1180 x 885, but due to a bug in the automated UAT framework I'm using, I need a way of setting the screen resolution of the Guest OS to 1920 x 1080.

Could someone please point me in the right direction for getting this set up? Thanks Smiley Happy

Yours,

Duncan Bayne

Use RDP to connect to VM instead of VI Client.

Thanks, but this doesn't address the problem. We've set the Guest OS to log in automatically upon boot, and it's the resolution of that session we need to increase. Currently, we're connecting to the Guest OS by VNC once it's automatically logged in, rather than RDP.
