Incorrect Free Data Store space

I wonder if anyone has the same problem with VC2.x we're facing.

We noticed that the shown free space in data stores often is not accurate .

Is it a known issue ?

thanks

I have deleted unused files/vmdk's from the file system without going through the browser. I think it is about the same time that the datastore inaccurately reports storage. I think that if you close the console/VIC and launch it again, you might see accurate numbers.

Have seen it maybe 2 times on 2.5 and maybe 3 times on 3.0.

Not sure exactly why that happens.

I notice that all the time using VC2 2.0.1 patch2. I have to constantly click the Refresh button to see the updated info. Even when I do things through VC, create/delete VM's and drives.

I always first hit F5 to refresh what the VIC (connected to virtual Center) displays. No matter which component (disk space, custom fields, etc.) That helps.
