I've a customer using IBM Director on one of his blades. When we look at the VI client or esxtop/top you can see the CIMSERVER is using CPU0 very heavily...
Is this expected behaviour - or is this a problem

Mike

Even I am also facing the similar issue in which cimserver is using high cpu usage on processor 0. When I am migrating the Virtual Machine, CIMserver usage automatically increase then I have to kill the cimserver process and process comes to nomal usage.
Please let me know if you find any workaround and solution for this.
Thanks,
Hey Mike,
Did you ever find resolution to this issue besides killing the cimserver process.

ESX3.5 on HP Proliant ML350G5 (with agents on the ESX installed).
CIMserver was taking core 0 to 100% CPU usage.
Had to kill cimserver, using -9 parameter !
