I just installed ESX server 3.0.2
If I want to create a new VM I do not see my hard disk in the datastorage.
What should I do?

When you installed ESX did you create a VMFS partition?
Are you planning to install the VM's to a local disk or a SAN?
If SAN, have you zoned correctly?
Just for the record, normally you create a VM's harddisk (= .vmdk) onto a datastore (datastore is formatted with VMFS)
So first you need the datastore to be created. This can be done via the VI Client, under Configuration > Storage > Add Storage
