How to set up SNMP to start automatically?

Hello:

I am monitoring my ESXs by SNMP, everything configured and working properly. Only one issue I have right now is that my SNMP service on ESX will not start automatically.

What should I change to set it up to start on startup?

Thanks,

olegarr

To start the SNMP agents automatically

You can set the SNMP daemon to start whenever ESX Server boots by logging on as the root user on the service console and running the chkconfig command:

chkconfig snmpd on
