How to rename an ESX host

I had a hard time finding a post that described how to rename an ESX host. I found the command

esxcfg-advcfg -s " and hit enter (use FQDN)

5. Remove and readd to VC.

Done

Hope this helps someone...it helped this relative newbie.

Thanks for the info -

I read somewhere in the Technical Design Book stating that ,when we rename the host we need to change the server certificate settings also...?
