How to clear triggered alarms ?

Ho, I see a triggered alarm in the event view since few days. Normally this information disappears automaticly, but in my case, this stays.

How can I delete it ?

Regards

If you find the alarm definition (probably defined on Hosts and Clusters), right click, edit settings. Then untick the enable box. click Ok. Right click again, and tick enable. The alarm should be cleared.

I had this problem a couple of weeks ago.

It's ok, do you think it's a bug of VC ?

I've discovered this problem also. doesn't seem to be consistent, is it a bug?

ditto here. triggered alarms from hours/days ago just stay and dont clear out. At the moment for example, there is a big red exclamation mark on one of the hosts for high cpu usage although the alarm was triggered yesterday. The CPU usage has been fine for a long time.

Go higher in the tree.

Select the 'hosts&Clusters' folder at the top.

That's where the alarm is defined, so that's where you can edit it..

Hi Guys

If disabling and enabling does not clear your alarm migrate the VM from one host to another this will clear them Smiley Happy

Cheers
