How to add local disk...

I have VMware ESX 3.5 running on a dell 2950 with 2 RHEL5 VMs. Initially, I started with 2 disk drives, but now need more space. I have added 4 additional disk drives to the Dell 2950, but am not sure how to initialize and allow the VMs to make use of this space. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

1. Go to the storage controller boot menu. (I think you have press <ctl+M> during bootup if you have PERC. Create a RAID volume, maybe a RAID 5 for your 4 disks)

2. Reboot into ESX, then ...

Load up the VI Client, connect to the host.

Go to Configuration Tab, Select Storage -> Add Storage...
