Hostd stops

Hello

I could not connect with VI Client to esx directly

I looked at esx service console and I saw that hostd is down

I started mgmt-vmware service

It started but after some seconds stopped again

I tried it several times but result didnt change, still mgmt-vmware service becomes down

What is the reason of this situation and how can I do this service up?

You can safely delete the all...

Start hostd again and watch the dir.... if hostd still dumps core files open up an SR and pass the latest one to support.. The dumps are being created for trouble shooting purposes..

Don't know why it stops, but how does your COS free space look like? (df -lh)

If it stops and dumps to /var/core your COS will soon be filled up.. So watch out for this..

Yes you are right, should I delete some files on it?

And will this cause a problem?

Which files should I delete?
