Host XXXX currently has no management network redundancy.

In my infrastructure, I am using VMware ESX 3.5 U4, and VC2.5 - I am experiencing configuration issues with one of my clusters and the following message is showing: Host xxxx currently has no management network redundancy. I have chosen to allocate one nic to my host on the service console network simply because the ESX servers are in blades with redundancy backplane switches out of the ESX chassis.

Attempting to suppress the yellow exclamation I have tried the steps posted in KB 1004700 setting das.ignoreRedundantNetWarning to true.

When I do this, the following error occurs in virtual center: A specified parameter was not correct. Bad HA advanced option keys: das.ignoreRedundantNetWarning. Has anyone tried this and found the same error. If I cannot suppress the management network error with this method, is there an alternate method? The KB says that my software versions are supported...

Thanks for the help./

I suggest to do not try to disable this message.

Add another COS interface on the other vSwitch (with the other NIC) to resolve the problem.
