The server gets to mptscsi_2xx driver and hangs. No error messages, no crashes, no nothing. This server only has 1 SCSI device, and that is the LSI 1064E controller, all other serial devices (onboard sata) have been disabled.
Support Request #12150692803, regarding Storage connectivity issues on your ESXi 5.0 hosts. Based on our last communication, the LSI 1064E controller is not supported and is incompatible on ESXi 5.0 hosts.
