Evening....
Couple of VM's (W2k3 Std), deployed with one Java-type App. Hardware Interrupts are causing the CPU usage to spike, with HI's alone taking 50-75% CPU usage. Using process explorer to see this. I've pulled floppy/CD, USB, etc. no unnecessary peripherals. Very bizarre
I've since built a few fresh standard build's, and there is minor HI activity - I'm seeing 1% to 3% when idling - others are seeing higher, although I haven't.
I've not came across this before - anyone got any background on what I should expect with Hardware Interrupts in ESX, or any issues around them? I've found nothing online as to possible problems far or less cures.
