I have an HP DL380 server running ESX 3.5
In this enviroment there is no HP SIM or Open View, is there something I can install in the service console that will send an email alert if a disk or PSU etc fails?

I want something that just runs in the SC, I guess like the event notifier smart start installs in windows but the linux version.
Anybody done this?
