HItachi 9500 Thunder . DF600-RKA attaching Issue

I am WonHee Han.

Has anyone had an experience of attaching VMware 3.5 and DF600-RKA Storage.

1. On VI Client . Configuration. Datastore. Volume's path do not show all paths.

2. Fabric Configuration.

3. There are two ESX Host machine and each has 2 FC HBA.

4. Storage Engineer shows me there is no VMware or LNXCL mode of Storage LUN attachment type.

5. Should I set LUN attachment mode as Linux or ???

Any information will be appreciated.

Oddly enough, I believe you set it to novell. Do a quick search for hitachi and novell see if that pans out.

I didn't find it with a quick search, or with google. I do vaguely remember helping someone set one up once, my gut says novell, but it's fuzzy. I do remember that the answer surprised me, so maybe my memory is not bonkers.

I could try Novell Host Mode on LUN but Customer want to attach newly installed Storage. So Basically the issue have been solved for now.
