I am getting this error after I did a fresh install of ESX 3.5. I upgrade VC to 2.5 no problem there. I also did another fresh install of 3.5 and HA is working fine on that server.

cat /var/log/vmware/aam/aam_config_util_listnodes.log
do I type that in the SC CLI?
Yes you need to acess the console to do this.
As well what's the error?
I forgot I renamed the host
/etc/sysconfig/network
Could that be the issue?
Yes.
But it's hard to tell without knowing what error you have.
