are you managing this host with vCenter4 or above? If so, are there any alarms you can acknowledge and reset to green?

I'm not sure what you mean by that statement. However, from the vCenter level, click on the Alarms tab, then the triggered button.  Are there any alarms related to your hosts that you can right click on and "acknowledge" then right click and "reset to green?

Sorry i mean to say there is no Alarm in the task and event logs

but on actual ESX in vcenter it has red alert on it when i go to summary page of that esx it say HA Agent on the host failed

try this.. right click on the host and disconnect.  Once in a disconnected status, right click and connect.  If that doesn't work, disable HA on the entire cluster and enable it again.

restart the management agents again. on the host in question.  From there if that doesn't work, restart your vCenter Server Service.

when was the last time you restarted the management agents on your ESX Host?  Either way, I would try it again

Log into the ESX host as root and type the below command

service mgmt-vmware restart

If that doesn't work, restart your vCenter Server Service.
