Fail to power on server

Good day all.

I'm getting an error when trying to start up one of my VM..

"Could not power on VM: No swap file. Fail to power on VM"

Hi,

Please attach the vmware.log -which is found in the same folder as your virtual machine.- to your reply.

It seems the you cannot create the VM swap file.

Check if you have enought space in your datastore.

I had a look regarding disk space an I have 51.8 GB free.

Bear in mind this is a thread from 2009 so your issue may not be the same, so that solution may not work for you.
