Extents not adding up...

I just added another extent to my VMFS volume and the total formatted capacity doesn't add up. I have a 408.69 GB partition and 2 136.22 GB Partitions and I'm being told that it adds up to 952.50 GB when the actual amount should be 681.13GB... I've tried rescanning the Storage Adapters and rebooting the boxes. Any suggestions?

Where is this size (952.50) reported? Also, which software versions are you using?

ESX Server, 3.0.2, 52542 with VC 2.0.2 50618. The size is reported on both the Summary tab and the Configuration tab - Storage (SCSI, SAN, and NFS).

Hi..

I had a similar issue when the size reported in the Vcenter wasnt correct. What size are reported when you check directly on the ESX? (using the vdf command or other similar).

For my case directly on the esx, size was ok...

Nope, it actually shows up as 952GB on the ESX Server also...
