Expanding current vmware metalun sizes not showing in vmware

I expanded (concatenate) an existing metalun (vmware_lun12) with 2 additional luns adding 400gb more of space. The space shows up in properties… see screenshot…

But it doesn’t show up available to the esx servers… see screenshot… SANSTORE (1) still shows only 1tb…

Any suggestions? I tried unbinding the luns and it won’t let me. It tells that it’s in use…

Thanks for your help.

Expanding the Lun won't help, you can't extend the VMWare partition.

You will have to shrink the lun create a new lun and then add it to the original as an extent.

I know this isn't an emc san storage forum but are you familiar with shrinking the lun?

Thanks.

Is that the application or the site? Which app are you using to manage your san?

It's the type of storage hardware.
