Dear All,
I have to add 3 300 GB brand new drives to my SAN HP MSA 1000 (FC) Raid 5 Array (5 disk + 1 spare).
The goal is to create one new LUN and thus one new VMFS 3.x Volume on this one with no impact on 2 existing LUN.
I want to perform the Expand operation with CLI on MSA1000 via console cable with the following command:
expand unit # diskrange
# one of the LUN within the target array
Ex.
expand unit 4 disk204-disk207
Is there something wrong on that? Could you add some further detail?
