Expand RDM problem

Okay, so I have a "cluster-in-a-box" with two nodes. My data drive for both is a RDM of 150GB in size in virtual compatibility mode(no current snapshots). My SAN guy extend the RDM to 300GB; I re-scanned the HBA on the host these VM's reside on and saw the change from 150 to 300GB. I then "removed" the virtual disk RDM from both nodes in vCenter. I readded them, powered on the VM, but Disk Management doesn't see the extra space. I was hoping to just extend via DiskPart, but its not seeing the new space. What am I doing wrong? I do know that the RDM has a mapping file or something like that pointing to an existing datastore which is how I added it to the VM in the first place.

Hey there did you ever get this sorted?? I am in the same boat we run a cluster across two hosts and I need to extend the RDM lun.. the SAN guys say they can do it but I wasnt sure if disk management would see the extra space just like you mentioned..

Any help would be great !!
