Excessive snmpd logging

Hi,

on two of our ESX 3.5 servers we've continous messages of the snmp daemon in our logs. /var/log/messages is getting filled up with this pattern:

Apr  6 08:39:55 <HOSTNAME> snmpd[6985]: Connection from <IP of management server>
Apr  6 08:39:55 <HOSTNAME> last message repeated 3 times
Apr  6 08:40:42 <HOSTNAME> snmpd[6985]: Connection from 127.0.0.1
Apr  6 08:40:42 <HOSTNAME> last message repeated 6 times

We're running Fujitsu's serverView management agents on these machines. But how can we suppress this? I've already tried this kb-article:

http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=101426...

Unfortunatley it didn't change anything.

Any help appreciated.
