I upgraded to Esxi 4.1 update 2 and ghettoVCB no longer works.. After digging a bit the vmsvc/snapshot.remove requires a snapshot id as a parameter. This is obtained via vim-cmd vmsvc/snapshot.get <vmid>. See the release notes for a detailed description...
As a temp workaround you can delete the snapshot from the vsphere client and the shell script will continue..
I do not do sh programing otherwize I would post a fix here...
