I receive the below error when trying to export a Virtual image from ESX 3.5
"FAILED TO EXPORT VIRTUAL APPLIANCE: AN ITEM WITH THE SAME KEY HAS ALREADY BEEN ADDED"
Any help with this issue will be greatly appericated.
Try deleting any snapshots and then exporting the virtual appliance.....

As nrw states, this is usually caused by snapshots. Delete the snapshots if you don't need them, else create a clone, and then export the clone.
