Hi!
I have VI3 in place and 2 ESX 3.01 Host's coupled to a EMC CX3-20. I have about 25 VM's inhouse.
Today when i started my VI Client up i saw errors on my two hosts
Resource configuration specification synchronization failed on host 'hostserver.domain.com' in domain
Reason: Error during the configuration of the host: Already exists
what to do???
Best regards Nicklas in Vallentuna / Stockholm / sweden
We've seen this before, and it tends to just go away by itself. Doesn't seem to affect anything.
You could also try a restart of the management agents on your hosts - service mgmt-vmware restart - to see if that helps.

a restart of the ma did npt help. any more suggestions?

Hi Everyone!
Now i have a solution on this problem.
i've tested this commands
service mgmt-vmware restart
service vmware-vpxa restart
but nothing helped, so i removed the failing host from the cluster and put it right back again and disabled and enabled the HA and DRS and now it works just fine.
