Error in ESX 3.5 Patch website?

Is there an issue with the site

http://www.vmware.com/download/vi/vi3_patches_35.html ?

The contents.xml file does not appear to match up with the actual patches - I suspect it has not been updated from the January patches -

When I try to use the ftp depot I have created it finds no appropriate bundles. This is a problem as I cannot use Update manager as I am running on a site without Virtual Centre.

Any ideas?

I just downloaded it, and it looks correct...different from yours. Might try again.

Bob is talking about this one. And it matches what he posted. If you could post what you have he can use it to solve his problem.

Is that what you downloaded?

I'm having this same issue. I have downloaded the contents.zip on several different computers with the same results. Still getting the January contents.xml file.

Thanks EnsignA.

I tried again (cleared IE cache etc) but was still getting the same duff file, but had a thought that there might be a Proxy server caching it here. Got onto an ADSL line and got the updated one, ESX now updating fine.

VMware must have fixed it recently!

Thanks EnsignA, I don't have any cache servers on my network but I still keep getting the old version... very odd.

I could be which host we hit from the array, I have downloaded the old one after I flush my cache.

Interesting why you aren't getting the correct file. I downloaded the new ESX-3.5.0-contents file earlier today and it matches what EnsignA has which looks to be correct.

Yes it is. I just verified by manually deleting the cached file. And I still do not get the new file. I wonder how many servers are in use?

They must have multiple download servers load balanced and one of the servers doesn't have the new contents file. So it is hit or miss on which one you get.
