ESX configuration export

Hi all, in order to facilitate reinstallation ,is there any way to export ESX configuration?

I mean, as an example, exporting configurations like: SAN volumes, firewall ports, vSwitches / Portgroups etcetera

I've read that it's possible to create a kickstart installation witch service console commands (esxcfg-vswitch eetc..) that recreate the config, but is there any way to automatically create this file?

Hello,

There are several tools to make a KS file but none that I know that will read an existing install and create the file for you.

Check out UDA, as well as VPloyment from the XtraVirt folks.
