ESX Host Usernames with numbers :)

Anyone know how to get the ESX service console to allow usernames with numbers in them? I want to disable root SSH access and setup a new user of 1xxx but it doesnt like the number?

actually, I just tried this from the cmd line and you can add numerical usernames.

From ESX console, type: useradd 12345

type: passwd 12345 to set the password for user 12345

Thanks for all your comments, I was using the VIC client to setup usernames on the individual hosts... wouldnt let me do numbers? however you are right and using useradd comment in SSH session works.
