ESX Health Status shows "Alert" - all sub-components are "normal"

Hi,

all components are shown as "normal" but the Server has the status "Alert". ESX 3.5 Built 158874 and 176894.

So whats the problem? Thanks much!

It mean that there is another sensor (that is not visualized) that has an error.

For example on Dell server it could happen when RAID battery is discharging.

See in your hardware diagnostic tools.

Hi,

the IBM Diagnostic Tool has detected no errors Smiley Sad

Maybe I should open a vmware- case.

We have 9 IBM x3850 M2 - 7 of them have this "Health Status Alert".
