ESX Hang

Does anybody have more information about the hang mentioned in KB article 1006047 ?

Other than waiting, is there a way to know that ESX is hung ?

Any way to identify that what I am running to is indeed this problem ?

Any patch planned ?

Is this relevant for ESX 3i ?

It will affect ESX and perhaps ESXi. You want to look at the process list if the runtime for hostd is large > 10 CPU minutes then it is most likely hung.
