ESX & CX300

Ok so I just got VMware last week and really know nothing about it. I had professional services do the install but my SAN was not ready to present a LUN yet. Now that it is my NaviSphere is telling me it can not find the path when I am trying to set up the host. Navi shows the device there but will no find the path to link the esx to the SAN. Do you have to put the Navi agent on the ESX boxes? If so how do you do that? Here is my configuration.

1 Vm server

2 esx servers.

You'll want to read the following document. It describes how to configure ESX to communicate with your SAN, and it really is pretty straightforward. Seriously, take the time to read through it. You'll master the details in no time.

Thank you Paul. That is a good document to find and something I could not find yesterday. I ended up calling Dell on the issue. I was having issues actually getting the host to register in NaviSphere.
