ESX 3i - vmkfstool

I'm trying to import a VM per - KB 900 http://kb.vmware.com/kb/900 using the vmkfstool -i tool. I'm running ESX 3i - with the Virtual Infrastructure CLI that VMWare provides. When I envoke the vmkfstool script I get the following error...

Error connecting to the server at https://localhost/sdk/webService Connection ref used

Before I get this error message it asks me for a user ID and pw. I've tried both root and network. Both give the same error message.

What am I doing wrong?

You'll need to specify the server that you're connecting to otherwise it connects to the local host. You'll want to add --server to the command.
