ESX 3.5 Whitebox on HP xw6600

Hi communities,

I'm trying to install ESX Server 3.5 on a whitebox for test. My configuration is an HP xw6600 Workstation.

Has anyone ever been installed it on this configuration ? If you will have installed it, could you explain me. Network device is not recognized and more ...

Thanks for tips

Hello,

Verify that your IO devices are on the HCL http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vi35_io_guide.pdf specifically NICs and Storage controllers. If not get something from the HCL and disable the onboard devices. That will help quite a bit.
