ESX 3.5 Fresh install, cant mount root

Hello,

I have a poweredge 6650, quad processor, 16gig RAM...im installing ESX 3.5 and the isntaller goes fine, when i reboot it comes up and says that it cant mount the root drive an drops me into a shell...Any ideas why this is happening or how i can fix this?

Do you have fiber attached storage?

No its using local SCSI drives...i did a test and ESX 3.02 will load an run fine, only having the issue with ESX 3.5
