Guys,
I'm trying for the 1st time to create a 64bit guest on an ESX 3.5 platform.
I'm running the ESX platform on 2 x Intel Xeon E5345 quad core's.
Looking at previous questions the processor needs to be EM64T & VT compatible, which my processors are.
Yet when trying to create a Virtual Machine with a 64bit guest i'm getting the following error message.
"Host CPU is incompatible with the virtual machine's requirements at CPUIDlevel ....
Longmode required when a virtual machine is configured for 64bit guest OS"
Any idea's how to resolve this?
