ESX 3.5 2nd NIC

I am trying to setup NIC teaming for an IBM x346. The VIC reports only one NIC however the x346 has 2 on board devices. When I go into console mode, I only see one NIC as well:

# ifconfig

lo Link encap:Local Loopback

inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0

UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1

RX packets:35213 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0

TX packets:35213 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0

collisions:0 txqueuelen:0

RX bytes:1896892 (1.8 Mb) TX bytes:1896892 (1.8 Mb)

vmnic0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr macadd

UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1

RX packets:37865619 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0

TX packets:25146409 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0

collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000

RX bytes:3094204281 (2950.8 Mb) TX bytes:2278012434 (2172.4 Mb)

Interrupt:105

vswif0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr macadd

inet addr:ipaddress Bcast:bcastipadd Mask:255.255.255.0

UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1

RX packets:37737690 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0

TX packets:25146376 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0

collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000

RX bytes:3085798234 (2942.8 Mb) TX bytes:2277999062 (2172.4 Mb)

I would like to get the second NIC up and running. It is currently plugged into a switch and it is reporting connectivity. Any ideas?

Sigh... nevermind again. BIOS had NIC disabled. Thanks IBM!
