I used a free bootdisk utility called Hiren’s BootCD. It worked much better the ERD since you don't have to load custom scsi drivers. I posted the whole process and screenshots on my blog site. I'd like to know your thoughts if this is helpful. Oh and it's tottaly free unlike ERD.
