EMC AX4-5i- cant get iSCSI working -what am I missing?? GRRRRRRRRRR

pardon me if I miss anything basic, I am a newb to the iscsi stuff.

New hp 380, for now, sing connection to a iscsi vlan. I can ping 2 of the for SAN i scsi connections (??). In the meantime I have been through the emc guide for setting this ep (even with support) and still no joy.

Just looking for anyone who has won this battle already and may save me time. THis is becoming much more of a PITA that I ever thought.

You'll need both a service console and vmkernel port (with uniquie IPs) on the iSCSI subnet (if using the software iSCSI initiator). You'll also have to open the ESX firewall to allow iSCSI traffic if you're using the software iSCSI initiator.
